Kal East Gold Project

OVERVIEW

Our 100% owned Kalgoorlie East Gold Project (Kal East) is located to the east of the world-class mining centre of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia. Comprising approximately 800km² of highly prospective tenements, it’s ideally located within 30 minutes’ drive from critical infrastructure, services, and access to experienced and skilled talent.

Our extensive tenement package is one of the largest undertested landholdings within 50km of Kalgoorlie. It contains a pipeline of projects spanning exploration targets on new greenstone belts, Resource extensions around historic workings, and advanced Ore Reserves.

We plan to construct a central processing facility strategically located near the Majestic Mining Centre, approximately 50kms east of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and within short haulage distance of the bulk of our Resources. The processing facility is designed as a traditional Carbon-In-Leach gold plant, which is ideally suited to our free milling Resources, as well as to third-party ores located east of Kalgoorlie.

Current JORC 2012 Mineral Resource totals 18.8mt @ 2.1 g/t au for 1,294,000 oz.

Our Resources are predominantly contained within the four Mining Centres of Myhree, Fingals, Majestic, and Trojan. These form the basis of our baseline Feasibility Study, with life of mine production of 4.8Mt @ 1.9 g/t Au for 302koz of gold. Construction of the processing facility and the first mines are permitted and ready for commencement.

GEOLOGY

Kal East is hosted in the Kurnalpi Terrane, part of the Norseman-Wuiluna Archean Greenstone Belt. Lithologies of the area are generally calc-alkaline volcanic and sedimentary sequences, interspersed with komatiitic volcanics. Younger intrusives are observed throughout the project area. Structurally, the project area is dominated by the Bulong Anticline that plunges to the southeast.

DISCOVERY OPPORTUNITIES – NEAR MINE AND REGIONAL

The Eastern Goldfields is highly endowed and world class. With a package of ~800km2  containing multiple historical production centres on the doorstep of Kalgoorlie, we are well placed to continue to discover gold. We have already defined significant exploitable Resources which we continue to develop and grow and have numerous exploration targets for ongoing drill testing.
